I am 22 years old a mom to two children my daughter was born on st pattys day 08, my son is 6 and a first grader in the fall. I am happily married. My kids and husband are my life, they are the reason I do everything. I also am going to college for business. I will hopefully graduate in the winter of 2009. My daughter has CF and a Hearing loss as well

Thank you for writing so honestly about losing your grandfather. Your description of him reminded me a little of mine....and I remember so clearly losing him. I wrote a song about him that I have featured on my myspace site. I don't know if you would relate to it or not, but people have told me they enjoyed it in remembrance of their own grandfathers. I am not doing this to promote anything--that's why I'm using the ping feature. I have nothing to promote anyway! It's just a private recording of my song to him. If you feel like it and you enjoy it or find some meaning in it, it would be great. You may not feel like going to the trouble of looking it up--that would be understandable. But just so you know your post was read by others who have had that very special relationship with a very special Pop-Pop (mine was called).
